King of Catan hosts the Proven Competitors Leagues and the Premier League, which features some of the best players in the Catan scene for both the Base Game and Cities & Knights!

King of Catan hosts Catan leagues, for Champion-like players only. You can only play if you meet certain criteria, like winning a national Catan championship. If you meet one of these criteria, you’re called a “Proven Competitor”.
Then, there’s two divisions with a large following and dedicated streamers on Twitch and YouTube.
- Proven Competitors League – this is where you start. 7 rounds with 1 game per week. Then the top 10 moves on to the Playoffs. And the finalists move on to the Premier League.
- Premier League – the top 20 players play 7 rounds with 1 game per week as well. Top 7 moves on to the Playoffs.
Winning either competition is one of the highest achievements in Catan, because you only face top-level competition.
