Each game of Catan has the same four stages. Each stage follows the same principles every game and being able to ‘navigate’ through these stages efficiently, will set you apart from the rest of the field.

I believe knowing about these stages is the most important step on your path to becoming a Catan champion, whether it’s winning an online championship, CATAN’s world championship program or the CATAN Premier League, this is something only champions know.

After only two sessions (the second being ‘The Four Stages of Catan’), one of my students improved his win-rate with 22%, while placing first on the King of Catan Season 31 Rankings and becoming a Proven Competitor.
